The goals of the project aiming to support cross-border dialogue related to cultural heritage in and between European countries: o exchanging knowledge on cultural heritage in different European countries o exchanging experiences of documentation techniques in different cultural and architectural contexts (e.g. wooden structures in Finland – stone structures in Italy) o preserving cultural heritage by raising joint discussion e.g. through cultural experts’ mobility o co-operating in documentation of cultural heritage by using new technology such as 3D scanning (earlier experience from the 3D Bridge – project, Culture2000) or the IDA platform under development

Activities and events:

o modelling and measuring of the culture targets (spring to autumn 09)
o collecting information on Finnish wooden bell towers, Seminaarinmäki-area in Jyväskylä and Italian stone buildings, their typical structures as well as the development of the buildings (summer to winter 09)
o developing the IDA platform and collecting the common database (before the Closing seminar)

o creating websites and using a suitable e-platform to facilitate the administration, collection of the documents produced and communication during the project (e.g. activity reports from the partners every three months, discussion forum)
